Hailing from Edinburgh and of Nigerian-Scottish descent, trumpeter Aaron Akugbo is poised as a future leading exponent of his instrument. He is joined for this performance at Glasgow Cathedral Festival by award-winning percussionist Tom Pritchard, for an eclectic programme ranging from traditional Gaelic melodies to works by pioneering African American composer Florence Price.
