Curating Cultural Expressions and the African Diaspora at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture

For Black History Month 2020, Dr. Joanne Hyppolite, Supervisory Curator of the African Diaspora and Dr. Paul Gardullo, Supervisory Museum Curator and Director of the Center for the Study of Global Slavery will present on the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Join us for an interactive discussion on the museum for Black History Month Scotland 2020. Dr. Paul Gardullo will introduce, before a live screening of Dr. Joanne Hyppolite's 'Curator Chat' on Cultural Expressions. This will be followed by a Q&A session, moderated by Zandra Yeaman, Curator, Curating Discomfort Project at the Hunterian/CRER.
