Empire, Community and Scotland’s Built Environment

This online talk will discuss the work of community organisations who are highlighting stories of Empire within Scotland’s built environment. Speakers from the Edinburgh Caribbean Association, West of Scotland Regional Equality Council (WSREC) and The Birse Community Trust will discuss their recent projects, and how further support and engagement can help better address conversations on race through Scotland’s built heritage. This event will be chaired by CRER. This is part of the Managing Imperial Legacies project - a networking platform running from 2020-2022. Further info and booking can be found at:
