Join us on a journey of rememberance and hope with songs of the Underground Railroad, African American spiritual and some of the choir’s favourites; honouring our women’s voices. Maryhill Intergration Network’s Joyous Choir welcomes participants from diverse background including women who are seeking asylum and refuge in Glasgow. Sharing songs from different cultures, they sing themes of sisterhood, protest, freedom and hope.
