In conversation with Professor Amjad Khan: Reflections of a career journey in the NHS

NES Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Staff Network bring you an hour in conversation with Professor Amjad Khan. Amjad has recently retired from NES. He was the Inaugural Chair of the NES Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Staff Network and Postgraduate General Practice Dean. Professor Khan has spent over 37 years working in the NHS.

This will be an opportunity to hear from and have dialogue with Amjad as well as celebrate Black History Month. Come and hear him share his thoughts on his career journey in the NHS and the changes and impacts that he has seen over the years. This will include the positives and challenges facing ethnic minority people in the workplace. The talk will conclude with some final thoughts from him on taking an anti-racism approach in the workplace.
