BLACK SCOTTISH HISTORY: EXPLORING YOUR FAMILY ARCHIVE WORKSHOP

  • Garnethill Multicultural Centre 21 Rose Street Glasgow, Scotland, G3 6RE United Kingdom (map)

Black Scottish History is sometimes hard to find in museums and archives. Black people and People of Colour in Scotland today have their own stories and personal archives. In this workshop we will explore Black Scottish History through your family archives, be that your biological family or chosen family. Bring along an item to discuss with the group and also find out more about the archives in Scotland, where more can be found. You can bring objects, photos or film – anything that connects you to your history! Workshop for Black people and People of Colour.

Free event, booking required
