Dr Stephen Mullen will tell the story of Glasgow’s opposition to the abolition of slavery. Dr Mullen is the author of Glasgow City Council’s Slavery Audit. He recently published ‘The Glasgow Sugar Aristocracy: Scotland and Caribbean Slavery, 1775-1838’.
