School Bookings for Black History Month at the GFT

Children and young people have a vital role to play in Glasgow Film’s vision for a cinema that supports learning. For Black History Month this year we are screening a varied program of films celebrating black joy and achievement, from NASA's team of female African-American mathematicians in the 60s to the inspiring life of 70s punk icon Poly Styrene.

All screenings are free to book for Glasgow City Council schools, and accompanying resources will be sent out to teachers a week in advance.

Screening of Belle (12)
