Join us for an engaging discussion with researchers and leading archivists on the challenges and opportunities for researching Black history in Scotland and the wider United Kingdom. Our event seeks to open up a conversation about sources and collections and to showcase recent research and research which is currently underway.

Speakers - Dr Ayshah R Johnston, Black Cultural Archives; Rachel Hosker, University of Edinburgh Archivist and Research Collections Manager; Dr Henry Dee, University of Glasgow; Isobel Westbury, PhD Researcher, School of History, Classics and Archaeology, University of Edinburgh, and National Museum of Scotland, researching: 'Imperial Flights and Encounters: recovering the experiences of People of Colour in Scottish wartime aviation, 1914-1945'.
